What’s up, ladies? Summer is just here, and it’s time to break out the pool floaties and sunscreen! And what better way to make a splash at your next daytime pool party than with a bright and fun eye look? Here’s a step-by-step guide to achieving the perfect pool party eye look that will make you look awesome!
Step 1: Prime your lids
Before applying any eyeshadow, it’s important to prime your lids to ensure that the colors you use stay vibrant and don’t crease. Use a small amount of eyeshadow primer on your lids and blend it out with
your finger.

Step 2: Apply a neutral base
I used this neutral bronzer shade which I even applied to chisel my cheekbones. Apply it all over your lid as a base for your colorful eyeshadows to stand out. You can use whatever neutral color is available.

Step 3: Choose your colors
For a colorful pool party look, go for bright and bold shades like turquoise, coral, and yellow.The Melt Cosmetic’s Eyeshadow Palette offers a bunch of pigmented shades that are perfect for this look.

Step 4: Apply the colors
Using a flat eyeshadow brush, apply the bright shades to your lid, starting with the lightest shade first and working your way up to the darkest shade. Be sure to blend each shade well to create a seamless color transition. I would recommend this eyeshadow brush set;

Step 5: Add a pop of glitter
Add a glitter eyeshadow to the center of your lid for an extra pop of fun. The palette I am using has a variety of glitter shades that will take your look to the next level.

Step 6: Line your eyes
Using a black liquid or gel eyeliner, line your upper lash line to define your eyes.

Step 7: Mascara and lashes
Apply your favorite mascara to your lashes, and if you want to go the extra mile, add a pair of false lashes for a dramatic touch as I did.

Step 8: Don’t forget the brows
Define your brows with a brow kit from benefit cosmetics to frame your colorful eye look.

And that’s about it! With this fun and colorful eye look, you’re ready to make a splash at your next daytime pool party. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different shades and techniques to make it your own. Enjoy partying in the summer!
